By now we have settled into our fall routines. It’s back to school, programs, lessons and comfort food. Although with this beautiful weather, we haven’t really had to pull out the cozy sweaters just yet.
I’m curious what your favourite summer activity might have been? Did you visit somewhere new, read a good book or try a new activity? This spring and summer our family decided to start hiking regularly. It was a great time for us to talk, share, enjoy the outdoors, explore and of course admire God’s incredible landscape. Being surrounded by nature always reminds me how small we must seem to God- but how big and powerful He is. We truly can put our trust and our confidence in Him!
We are already three weeks into our fall quarter for Sunday school. Our verse for this year is found in Psalm 119:105, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.” This is such a simple verse, yet it gives so much instruction and encouragement.
Just a reminder that we have a Back to School Fun Night planned for Tuesday, September 26, 6:15 - 7:30pm. It’s meant to be a fun time for our kids SK to grade 5 to get together and have some fun with games, crafts, snack and more. Please see our website for more information.
As well, there is a trip to Frootogo scheduled for Saturday, October 14th. The wagon leaves at 10:00am so make sure you arrive early and that you dress for the weather. There is a great play park for the kids, apple and pumpkin picking and a delicious bake shop. We are looking forward to this visit once again!
